No data collected is older than five years and no generic datasets used are older than ten years. The representativeness, completeness, reliability, and consistency is judged as good. The background data for the processes come from the following resources database Ecoinvent v.3.10. Specific (LCI) data quality analysis was a part of the input data verification. The allocation rules used for this EPD are based on general ITB PCR A. Production of the BSP KWRZ substructure system with BSP KW4 PAS passive consoles is a line process conducted in plant of BSP sp. z o. o. located in Przasnysz (Poland). Allocation was done on product mass basis. All impacts associated with the extraction and processing of raw materials used for the production of the declared product are allocated in module A1 of the LCA. Impacts from the global line production of BSP sp. z o. o. were inventoried and 100% were allocated to BSP KWRZ substructure system with BSP KW4 PAS passive consoles production. Water and energy consumption (electricity, natural gas, LPG), associated emissions and generated wastes are allocated to module A3. Packaging materials were taken into consideration. Minimum 99.0% input materials and 100% energy consumption (electricity, natural gas, LPG) were inventoried in a processing plant and were included in the calculation. In the assessment, all available data from production have been considered, i.e. all raw materials/elements used as per formulation process, utilized thermal energy for heating, and electric power consumption. Thus, material and energy flows contributing less than 1 % of mass or energy have been considered. It can be assumed that the total sum of neglected processes does not exceed 1 % of energy usage and mass per modules A or D. Machines and facilities required during production are neglected. The packaging products (stretch film, carkgs, pallets, etc.) are included. 1 2025 2030 "2025-02-19" - "2030-02-19" 2025-02-19 - - The BSP KWRZ hook-in substructure system is a system of mechanical invisible fastening of panels on external and internal elevations in ventilated elevation technology. The system is dedicated to heavy claddings (e.g. architectural concrete or skge cladding) due to the considerable thickness of the fastening elements. It consists of BSP KW1 aluminum consoles (alternatively BSP KW1 PAS or KW4 PAS passive consoles), vertical aluminum profiles, most often BSP KWR1 and KWR2, BSP KWRZ horizontal hook-in profiles and BSP KWRZ aluminum point hooks. All elements of the BSP KWRZ system are manufactured from extruded aluminum alloy EN AW 6060 T66 or EN AW 6063 T6. The KW4 PAS console consists of aluminum elements and a plastic chamber spacer with very good thermal insulation parameters. The spacer chambers are located in a layer of thermal insulation wool, creating an unventilated air space, which also has a positive effect on thermal insulation. The spacer is clamped in the sockets of the aluminum elements and thus permanently connected to them. The console is classified as not spreading fire when exposed to fire from the outside. In terms of reaction to fire, it has class B-s3,d0. It also has a positive opinion from the ITB regarding paragraph 225 of the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure on the technical conditions that buildings and their location should meet, as well as use above 25 m and in fire separation zones. The length of all consoles depends on the elevation projection and is selected each time based on the design documentation. The height, on the other hand, depends on the function of the console. Fixed consoles - transferring vertical loads from the weight of the facade to the building structure - are standardly available in a height of 150 mm or 120 mm. Sliding consoles – which only transfer horizontal load from wind suction and pressure – are available as standard in heights of 60 mm or 90 mm. The consoles have a specially designed pocket, which significantly facilitates the attachment of profiles and the determination of their plane. The holes in the consoles for attaching profiles ensure their free thermal expansion. Anchoring elements selected based on static calculations are used to attach the consoles to the building structure. Special BSP HDPE system pads (alternatively EPDM or PVC) are used under the consoles to avoid corrosion at the contact point of aluminum with the substrate and to obtain better thermal insulation parameters. Energy and water consumption, emissions as well as information on generated wastes were inventoried and were included in the calculations. It can be assumed that the total sum of omitted processes does not exceed 5% of all impact categories.
